Shari comes to the Dukes with years of baseball
involvement and experience. At the local levels in Sherwood Park and
Calgary, Shari coached rep fastball and house league baseball, played
in the top ladies fastball Division in Edmonton, managed rep baseball
teams (including the 2004 Bantam AAA National Champion Calgary Cubs)
and sat on the Board of Directors for both Sherwood Park Minor Baseball and Baseball Calgary. She has also been highly involved with Baseball Alberta
as the head coach of the Pee Wee Girls Team Alberta for Baseball
Alberta, as a member of the Board of Directors and as the Chair for the
Playoff Committee. One of her proudest achievements is spearheading a
tiered Provincial league system which is still being utilized today.
Shari designed and coordinated player camps, coaching clinics and
special events in Calgary with Canadian Olympic Baseball Coach, Marty
Lehn. She was the first woman to sit on an International Baseball
Federation Technical Committee, working as a Technical Commission
delegate at the Inaugural Women’s World Cup held in Edmonton in 2004
and currently sits as the sole female on Baseball Canada’s Long Term
Athlete Development Committee. Shari is happy to be back in Sherwood
Park and excited to be involved with the Dukes! |

Luke has been a vital part of the Sherwood Park Dukes right from the beginning. With his knowledge and background of baseball, both playing
and coaching in Sherwood Park for many years, it was a perfect fit! Luke played an integral part of developing the presentation of the
Dukes to the Western Major Baseball League which blew the League away! His role as Operations Manager will ensure the off-field operations are
ready for Opening Day and the day-to-day operations runs smoothly. Luke has a passion for the sport and seeing it presented well, wanting to
make sure that the fans have as much of an enjoyable experience as the players do. When Luke’s not at the yard, he works as a commentator for
